In Store and Shipping Policies
In-Store Purchases: Purchases in store are AS IS and there is no guarantee on livestock, we take pride in caring for our animals and expect you to inspect each animal carefully before making a purchase.
Special Orders: All special orders items must be paid for by the customer placing the special order, in the case a special items is returned (see returns policy for returns requirements) a 15% restocking fee will be assessed on the item.
Shipping: We ship on Mondays and Wednesday’s ONLY, if your order is processed any time Wednesday thru Sunday it will not ship until the next Monday, orders processed on Tuesdays will ship on Wednesday.
Delivery: You are required to sign for your packages at the time of delivery. We do not send packages “No Signature Required.” If you wish to have your package left without a signature, you may do so by leaving a note on the door for the carrier. We are not responsible for packages released without a signature. In the event that your package is lost or stolen, it is your responsibility to file a claim with the carrier. No credits will be issued for packages delivered without a signature. If you are not available to directly receive the package upon the first delivery attempt, we will not guarantee the live arrival of the items shipped.
Livestock not signed for and left at your door is not guaranteed and no credit will be issued.
Arrive Alive & DOA: aka Dead on Arrival means “Dead On Arrival” and not DEAD after acclimation, a freshwater bath, use of chemicals to rid the fish of pathogens, ReVive, Lugols or CoralRx Dips or in your tank after 5 hours or the next day. DOA also does not mean dead because delivery was delayed due to your cities weather condition. If you think the fish/coral is dead upon arrival text or email us immediately, follow that with a clear picture of the dead fish/coral within the first 2 hours of receiving it (time is determined by the shippers delivery confirmation). Upon review we will then issue you a store credit for the full amount of the dead livestock minus shipping. We are not responsible for shipping company delays. This is a risk that is part of the hobby. It is out of our hand when we hand it over to shipping carrier.
Returns: You may return any unused product, by calling us and obtaining an RMA# within 7 days of purchase for a full refund of the item’s purchase price.
In the event an item you receive does not meet your needs or expectations, you may return it providing:
1. Item is in original display package, which must also be in new condition.
2. Item must be in salable condition
3. All parts, accessories, warranty cards, instructions, ect, must be enclosed and unaltered.
4. Item must be received within 14 days of obtaining the RMA#.
5. Enclosed RMA
You must obtain an RMA (Return Authorization Number) by calling 570-589-0234 before sending any merchandise.
We are unable to accept returns on clearance items. Any deviation from these criteria may result in a 15% restocking fee.
Returns and credits are subject to the discretion of knockOUT Aquatics.
